Best Practices

      Please ensure you have your tickets and passes readily accessible upon your arrival at the entrance gate located on Bruckner Road. Our staff will be positioned to efficiently scan your tickets and issue your passes. To facilitate a smooth entry process, we kindly request that you do not cause delays at the gate. 

      As you make your way through the property, should you require any assistance or have inquiries, please approach a staff member or volunteer promptly. They are dedicated to enhancing your event experience. Look for personnel wearing bright yellow lanyards; they are available and eager to assist you. 

      Campers are expected to maintain a low and respectful noise level during nighttime hours. Please dispose of all trash in designated receptacles. While coolers are permitted, glass bottles are strictly prohibited on the premises.

      In accordance with the spirit of Esoterica's Festival, a family-friendly event, any lewd or disruptive behavior will not be tolerated. Attendees deemed unruly or unsafe will be removed without delay. “FAFO” is rigorously enforced. 

Compliance with Laws and Permits

       The festival complies with all relevant local, state, and federal laws and regulations regarding sound amplification, crowd control, and food and beverage vendors. The event will adhere to local noise ordinances, which impose restrictions on allowable sound levels and operational hours. Spartanburg, SC noise levels are regulated from 9:00 PM to 7:00 AM. During these hours, law enforcement may issue a verbal warning for disruptive noise; a second complaint may result in a citation at officer's discretion. Amplified music is restricted to the hours of 8:00 AM to 11:00 PM. 

Assumption of Risk and Liability Waiver

       By attending this event, participants acknowledge and accept the inherent risks associated with large outdoor gatherings, including the potential for injury, illness, or other unforeseen issues. Attendees release the festival organizers, their employees, and agents from any liability concerning injury, illness, damage, loss, or claims arising from participation in the event. 

Consent to Be Photographed and Filmed

       Attendees acknowledge and agree to be photographed or filmed during the event. They grant festival organizers the right to utilize these images and recordings for promotional or commercial purposes without compensation.

 Rules and Regulations

       Prohibited items include glass bottles, weapons, illegal substances, fireworks, globes, and drones. Attendees are expected to conduct themselves respectfully and adhere to the directives of event staff and security personnel. Disruptive behavior, including excessive intoxication, is prohibited and will result in removal from the event without a refund. Attendees are required to use sanitation facilities appropriately and dispose of waste responsibly. Vehicles are prohibited from driving the property during the event. Day pass holders shall leave vehicles parked in the main field behind the main stage, while camping pass holders may park in designated camping areas. All vehicles must prominently display a valid parking pass on the front windshield or dashboard. Gas-powered ATVs and motorcycles are not permitted. 

Safety and Security

      Security personnel are on-site 24/7. Attendees should be prepared for mandatory security screenings upon entry. Emergency exits, first-aid stations, and other medical facilities will be available and clearly marked throughout the venue. The event will comply with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), ensuring accessible pathways, restrooms, and viewing areas. The main entrance gate will close daily from 11:30 PM to 8:00 AM, with only emergency exceptions permitted. Day pass holders must vacate the property by 11:30 PM, and camping attendees are required to remain on-site until 8:00 AM. Security personnel will be present at the gate at all times.

        The festival reserves the right to modify the event schedule, lineup, or other pertinent details without prior notice. However such changes will only occur due to factors beyond the control of the organizers or property owners. Please be advised that all tickets, passes, and associated fees are final and non-refundable.
